Doug Collins (full name: Paul Douglas Collins; Doug) played Guard-Forward from 1974 until 1981 for the Philadelphia 76ers. Over 8 seasons, he played 415 games, scored 7427 points (17.9 ppg) and grabbed 1339 rebounds (3.2 rpg). Collins also dished out 1368 assists (3.3 apg), made 518 steals (1.2 spg), and blocked 114 shots (0.3 bpg) during his career. Born in Christopher, Illinois on July 28, 1951, Collins stands 6-6 and weighs 180 lbs. He attended high school at Benton in Benton, Illinois and college at Illinois State University. He was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 1st round (1st pick, 1st overall) of the 1973 NBA draft.
