About Doug Bodger:
Doug Bodger (full name: Doug Bodger; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1985 until 2000 for the Pittsburgh Penguins, Buffalo Sabres, San Jose Sharks, New Jersey Devils, Los Angeles Kings and Vancouver Canucks. He played for the Penguins from 1985 - 1989, Sabres from 1989 - 1996, Sharks from 1996 - 1998, Devils in 1998, Kings in 1999 and Canucks in 2000. Over 16 seasons, he played 1071 games, scored 106 goals, and made 422 assists. Born in Chemainus, British Columbia on June 18, 1966, Bodger stands 6-2 and weighs 210 lbs. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1st round (9th overall) of the 1984 NHL Entry Draft. Bodger officially announced retirement on December 14, 1999.
