Dorell Wright is an American pro basketball athlete who is currently lined up in the National Basketball Association for the Golden State Warriors’ roster as small forward. Wright was born on December 2, 1985 in Los Angeles, California and graduated from Leuzinger High School. Wright, who, stands 6 ft. 9 in. and weighs 210 lbs., began his pro basketball career after he was drafted out directly from high school during the 2004 NBA Draft by the Miami Heat in the first round of the Draft.

 

Throughout his entire career with the Miami Heat, Wright had played a total of two hundred and eleven games starting fifty six of it, averaging six points and three rebounds in every game during the regular seasons. Wright’s major career highlight with the Heat was being part of the Miami Heat's first NBA championship squad in 2006. After his agreement with the Heat expired, the Heat agreed to extend his contract and Wright was then re-signed on August 21, 2008. Until on July 13, 2010, Wright officially signed a deal with the Golden State Warriors after two years of play following his contract extension with the Heat.

Wright also dished out 259 assists (1.2 apg), made 131 steals (0.6 spg), and blocked 120 shots (0.6 bpg). Born in Los Angeles, California on December 2, 1985, Wright stands 6-7 and weighs 200 lbs. He attended high school at Leuzinger in Lawndale, California. He was drafted by the Miami Heat in the 1st round (19th pick, 19th overall) of the 2004 NBA draft.
