Don Maloney (full name: Don Maloney; no nicknames) played left wing from 1979 until 1991 for the New York Rangers, Hartford Whalers and New York Islanders. He played for the Rangers from 1979 - 1989, Whalers in 1989 and Islanders from 1990 - 1991. Over 13 seasons, he played 765 games, scored 214 goals, and made 350 assists. Born in Lindsay, Ontario on September 5, 1958, Maloney stands 6-1 and weighs 190 lbs. He was drafted by the New York Rangers in the 2nd round (26th overall) of the 1978 NHL Amateur Draft.
