Don Lever (full name: Don Lever; no nicknames) played left wing from 1973 until 1987 for the Vancouver Canucks, Atlanta Flames, Calgary Flames, Colorado Rockies, New Jersey Devils and Buffalo Sabres. He played for the Canucks from 1973 - 1980, Flames in 1980, Flames from 1981 - 1982, in 1982, Devils from 1983 - 1985 and Sabres from 1986 - 1987. Over 15 seasons, he played 1020 games, scored 313 goals, and made 367 assists. Born in South Porcupine, Ontario on November 14, 1952, Lever stands 5-11 and weighs 185 lbs. He was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in the 1st round (3rd overall) of the 1972 NHL Amateur Draft.
