Don Kolloway (full name: Donald Martin Kolloway; Butch and Cab) played second baseman, first baseman and third baseman from 1940 until 1953 for the Chicago White Sox, Detroit Tigers and Philadelphia Athletics. He played for the White Sox from 1940 - 1949, Tigers from 1949 - 1952 and Athletics in 1953. Over 12 seasons, he played 1079 games, hit 29 home runs, drove in 466 runs, and stole 76 bases. Born on August 4, 1918 in Posen, IL, Kolloway stood 6' 3" and weighed 200 lb. He attended Blue Island (Blue Island, IL) (All Transactions) high school.
