Don Chaney (full name: Donald R. Chaney; Don, Duck) played Guard from 1969 until 1980 for the Boston Celtics, Spirits of St. Louis and Los Angeles Lakers. Over 12 seasons, he played 790 games, scored 6663 points (8.4 ppg) and grabbed 3147 rebounds (4.0 rpg). Chaney also dished out 1762 assists (2.2 apg), made 558 steals (0.7 spg), and blocked 232 shots (0.3 bpg) during his career. Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on March 22, 1946, Chaney stands 6-5 and weighs 210 lbs. He attended high school at McKinley in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and college at University of Houston. He was drafted by the Boston Celtics in the 1st round (12th pick, 12th overall) of the 1968 NBA draft.
