A remarkable designated hitter, Don Castle hails from the county seat of Howard, Indiana, United States in Kokomo and was born on February 1, 1950. He had been well-noted for his fantastic game performances as well as his great enthusiasm toward every baseball opportunity. He had started his MLB career when he was chosen by the Texas Rangers to be part of their team during an amateur draft in 1973. He was originally selected as first baseman though five years before his official debut.

When he got into the Rangers, he was transformed to make into a hitter position.
