Don Adams (full name: Donald L. Adams; Don) played Forward from 1971 until 1977 for the San Diego Rockets, Houston Rockets, Atlanta Hawks, Detroit Pistons, Spirits of St. Louis and Buffalo Braves. Over 7 seasons, he played 523 games, scored 4598 points (8.8 ppg) and grabbed 2916 rebounds (5.6 rpg). Adams also dished out 1011 assists (1.9 apg), made 334 steals (0.6 spg), and blocked 64 shots (0.1 bpg) during his career. Born in Atlanta, Georgia on November 27, 1947, Adams stands 6-6 and weighs 210 lbs. He attended high school at South Fulton in South Fulton, Georgia and college at Northwestern University. He was drafted by the San Diego Rockets in the 8th round (1st pick, 120th overall) of the 1970 NBA draft.
