About Doc Cramer:
Doc Cramer (full name: Roger Maxwell Cramer; Flit) played centerfielder from 1931 until 1948 for the Philadelphia Athletics, Boston Red Sox, Washington Senators and Detroit Tigers. He played for the Athletics from 1931 - 1935, Red Sox from 1936 - 1940, Senators in 1941 and Tigers from 1942 - 1948. Over 20 seasons, he played 2239 games, hit 37 home runs, drove in 1357 runs, and stole 62 bases. Born on July 22, 1905 in Beach Haven, NJ, Cramer stood 6' 2" and weighed 185 lb. He attended Atlantic City (Atlantic City, NJ) (All Transactions) high school. His debut was on September 18, 1929 and he played his final game on May 12, 1948.
