Doak Walker (fullname: Ewell Doak Walker Jr.; no nicknames) played Defensive Back from 1950 until 1955 for the Detroit Lions. He played 67 games, intercepted 2 passes and recovered 3 fumbles. Born in Dallas, TX on January 1, 1927, Walker stands 5'11 and weighs 173 lbs. He attended college at SMU. He was drafted by the New York Bulldogs in the 1st round (3rd overall) of the 1949 NFL Draft. Walker was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1986, finalist in 1972, 1973, 1974, 1976.
