Dikembe Mutombo (full name: Dikembe Mutombo; no nicknames) played Center from 1992 until 2009 for the Denver Nuggets, Atlanta Hawks, Philadelphia 76ers, New Jersey Nets, New York Knickerbockers and Houston Rockets. Over 18 seasons, he played 1196 games, scored 11729 points (9.8 ppg) and grabbed 12359 rebounds (10.3 rpg). Mutombo also dished out 1240 assists (1.0 apg), made 494 steals (0.4 spg), and blocked 3289 shots (2.8 bpg) during his career. Born in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo on June 25, 1966, Mutombo stands 7-2 and weighs 245 lbs. He attended high school at Institute Boboto in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo and college at Georgetown University. He was drafted by the Denver Nuggets in the 1st round (4th pick, 4th overall) of the 1991 NBA draft.
