Dick Van Arsdale (full name: Richard Albert Van Arsdale; Dick) played Guard-Forward from 1966 until 1977 for the New York Knickerbockers and Phoenix Suns. Over 12 seasons, he played 921 games, scored 15079 points (16.4 ppg) and grabbed 3807 rebounds (4.1 rpg). Arsdale also dished out 3057 assists (3.3 apg), made 264 steals (0.3 spg), and blocked 44 shots (0.0 bpg) during his career. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 22, 1943, Arsdale stands 6-5 and weighs 210 lbs. He attended high school at Manual in Indianapolis, Indiana and college at Indiana University. He was drafted by the New York Knickerbockers in the 2nd round (2nd pick, 10th overall) of the 1965 NBA draft.
