Dick Redmond (full name: Dick Redmond; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1970 until 1982 for the Minnesota North Stars, California Golden Seals, Chicago Black Hawks, St. Louis Blues, Atlanta Flames and Boston Bruins. He played for the North Stars from 1970 - 1971, Golden Seals from 1971 - 1973, Black Hawks from 1973 - 1977, Blues in 1978, Flames in 1978 and Bruins from 1979 - 1982. Over 13 seasons, he played 771 games, scored 133 goals, and made 312 assists. Born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario on August 14, 1949, Redmond stands 5-11 and weighs 178 lbs. He was drafted by the Minnesota North Stars in the 1st round (5th overall) of the 1969 NHL Amateur Draft.
