Dick Culler (full name: Richard Broadus Culler; no nicknames) played shortstop, third baseman and second baseman from 1936 until 1949 for the Philadelphia Athletics, Chicago White Sox, Boston Braves, Chicago Cubs and New York Giants. He played for the Athletics in 1936, White Sox in 1943, Braves from 1944 - 1947, Cubs in 1948 and Giants in 1949. Over 8 seasons, he played 472 games, hit 2 home runs, drove in 195 runs, and stole 19 bases. Born on January 15, 1915 in High Point, NC, Culler stood 5' 9" and weighed 155 lb. He attended High Point (High Point, NC) high school. His debut was on September 19, 1936 and he played his final game on May 25, 1949.
