Detlef Schrempf (full name: Detlef Schrempf; no nicknames) played Forward-Center from 1986 until 2000 for the Dallas Mavericks, Indiana Pacers, Seattle Supersonics and Portland Trail Blazers. Over 16 seasons, he played 1136 games, scored 15761 points (13.9 ppg) and grabbed 7023 rebounds (6.2 rpg). Schrempf also dished out 3833 assists (3.4 apg), made 856 steals (0.8 spg), and blocked 312 shots (0.3 bpg) during his career. Born in Leverkusen, Germany on January 21, 1963, Schrempf stands 6-9 and weighs 214 lbs. He attended high school at Centralia in Centralia, Washington and college at University of Washington. He was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks in the 1st round (8th pick, 8th overall) of the 1985 NBA draft.
