Derrick McKey (full name: Derrick Wayne McKey; Heavy D) played Forward-Center from 1988 until 2002 for the Seattle Supersonics, Indiana Pacers and Philadelphia 76ers. Over 15 seasons, he played 937 games, scored 10266 points (11.0 ppg) and grabbed 4387 rebounds (4.7 rpg). McKey also dished out 2254 assists (2.4 apg), made 1072 steals (1.1 spg), and blocked 612 shots (0.7 bpg) during his career. Born in Meridian, Mississippi on October 10, 1966, McKey stands 6-9 and weighs 205 lbs. He attended high school at Meridian in Meridian, Mississippi and college at University of Alabama. He was drafted by the Seattle Supersonics in the 1st round (9th pick, 9th overall) of the 1987 NBA draft.
