Derrick Brooks plays for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League. He was born on April 18, 1973 in Pensacola, Florida.
When he was in high school, he played as an outside linebacker at Washington High School in Pensacola and he then played at the Florida State University. He was chosen by the Tampa Bay during the first round of the 1995 National Football League Draft. He has been considered as one of the premier linebackers in the National Football League.
