Derek Armstrong (full name: Derek Armstrong; no nicknames) played center from 1994 until 2010 for the New York Islanders, Ottawa Senators, New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings and St. Louis Blues. He played for the Islanders from 1994 - 1997, Senators in 1998, Rangers from 1999 - 2001, Kings from 2003 - 2009 and Blues in 2010. Over 14 seasons, he played 477 games, scored 72 goals, and made 149 assists. Born in Ottawa, Ontario on April 23, 1973, Armstrong stands 6-0 and weighs 197 lbs. He was drafted by the New York Islanders in the 6th round (128th overall) of the 1992 NHL Entry Draft.
