Denny Galehouse (full name: Dennis Ward Galehouse; no nicknames) played pitcher from 1934 until 1949 for the Cleveland Indians, Boston Red Sox and St. Louis Browns. He played for the Indians from 1934 - 1938, Red Sox from 1939 - 1949 and Browns from 1941 - 1947. Over 15 seasons, he started 258 games, won 109 games, struck out 851 batters, and had a 3.97 ERA. Born on December 7, 1911 in Marshallville, OH, Galehouse stood 6' 1" and weighed 195 lb. He attended Doylestown (Doylestown, OH) (All Transactions) high school.
