Dennis Maruk (full name: Dennis Maruk; no nicknames) played center from 1976 until 1989 for the California Golden Seals, Cleveland Barons, Minnesota North Stars and Washington Capitals. He played for the Golden Seals in 1976, Barons from 1977 - 1978, North Stars from 1979 - 1989 and Capitals from 1979 - 1983. Over 14 seasons, he played 888 games, scored 356 goals, and made 522 assists. Born in Toronto, Ontario on November 17, 1955, Maruk stands 5-8 and weighs 175 lbs. He was drafted by the California Golden Seals in the 2nd round (21st overall) of the 1975 NHL Amateur Draft.
