Denis Savard (full name: Denis Savard; no nicknames) played center from 1981 until 1997 for the Chicago Black Hawks, Chicago Blackhawks, Montreal Canadiens and Tampa Bay Lightning. He played for the Black Hawks from 1981 - 1986, Blackhawks from 1987 - 1997, Canadies from 1991 - 1993 and Lightning from 1994 - 1995. Over 17 seasons, he played 1196 games, scored 473 goals, and made 865 assists. Born in Pointe Gatineau, Quebec on February 4, 1961, Savard stands 5-10 and weighs 175 lbs. He was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 1st round (3rd overall) of the 1980 NHL Entry Draft. He was inducted into Hockey Hall of Fame as Player in 2000.
