Denis Pederson (full name: Denis Pederson; no nicknames) played center/right wing from 1996 until 2003 for the New Jersey Devils, Vancouver Canucks, Phoenix Coyotes and Nashville Predators. He played for the Devils from 1996 - 2000, Canucks from 2000 - 2002, Coyotes in 2002 and Predators in 2003. Over 8 seasons, he played 435 games, scored 57 goals, and made 71 assists. Born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan on September 10, 1975, Pederson stands 6-2 and weighs 205 lbs. He was drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the 1st round (13th overall) of the 1993 NHL Entry Draft. Pederson officially announced retirement on November 2, 2006.
