Del Crandall (full name: Delmar Wesley Crandall; no nicknames) played catcher from 1949 until 1966 for the Boston Braves, Milwaukee Braves, San Francisco Giants, Pittsburgh Pirates and Cleveland Indians. He played for the Braves from 1949 - 1950, Braves from 1953 - 1963, Giants in 1964, Pirates in 1965 and Indians in 1966. Over 16 seasons, he played 1573 games, hit 179 home runs, drove in 585 runs, and stole 26 bases. Born on March 5, 1930 in Ontario, CA, Crandall stands 6' 1" and weighs 180 lb.
