Debs Garms (full name: Debs C. Garms; Tex) played outfielder and third baseman from 1932 until 1945 for the St. Louis Browns, Boston Bees, Pittsburgh Pirates and St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the Browns from 1932 - 1935, Bees from 1937 - 1939, Pirates from 1940 - 1941 and Cardinals from 1943 - 1945. Over 12 seasons, he played 1010 games, hit 17 home runs, drove in 438 runs, and stole 18 bases. Born on June 26, 1907 in Bangs, TX, Garms stood 5' 8" and weighed 165 lb. He attended high school. His debut was on August 10, 1932 and he played his final game on September 25, 1945. Common misspellings of his name include Debs C. Debs Tex Garms.
