Dean Meminger (full name: Dean P. Meminger; The Dream) played Guard from 1972 until 1977 for the New York Knickerbockers and Atlanta Hawks. Over 6 seasons, he played 416 games, scored 2552 points (6.1 ppg) and grabbed 1086 rebounds (2.6 rpg). Meminger also dished out 1046 assists (2.5 apg), made 242 steals (0.6 spg), and blocked 28 shots (0.1 bpg) during his career. Born in Walterboro, South Carolina on May 13, 1948, Meminger stands 6-0 and weighs 175 lbs. He attended high school at Rice in New York, New York and college at Marquette University. He was drafted by the New York Knickerbockers in the 1st round (16th pick, 16th overall) of the 1971 NBA draft.
