Dean Kennedy (full name: Dean Kennedy; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1983 until 1995 for the Los Angeles Kings, New York Rangers, Buffalo Sabres, Winnipeg Jets and Edmonton Oilers. He played for the Kings from 1983 - 1989, Rangers in 1989, Sabres from 1990 - 1991, Jets from 1992 - 1994 and Oilers in 1995. Over 12 seasons, he played 717 games, scored 26 goals, and made 108 assists. Born in Redvers, Saskatchewan on January 18, 1963, Kennedy stands 6-2 and weighs 208 lbs. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the 2nd round (39th overall) of the 1981 NHL Entry Draft.
