About Dean Evason:
Dean Evason (full name: Dean Evason; no nicknames) played center from 1984 until 1996 for the Washington Capitals, Hartford Whalers, San Jose Sharks, Dallas Stars and Calgary Flames. He played for the Capitals from 1984 - 1985, Whalers from 1985 - 1991, Sharks from 1992 - 1993, Stars from 1994 - 1995 and Flames in 1996. Over 13 seasons, he played 803 games, scored 139 goals, and made 233 assists. Born in Flin Flon, Manitoba on August 22, 1964, Evason stands 5-10 and weighs 180 lbs. He was drafted by the Washington Capitals in the 5th round (89th overall) of the 1982 NHL Entry Draft.
