DeMarcus Ware is an American professional football player and is currently playing as linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League. He was born in Auburn, Alabama and took his college studies when he attended Troy University in Troy, Alabama. Ware is 6 ft. 4 in and 262 lbs. He started his professional football career after he was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys during the 2005 NFL Draft. He was a first round pick of the team in the draft. Ware was already considered a perfect fit as rush linebacker even before the 2005 NFL Draft.

 

In rookie season in 2005, Ware had recorded in a single game three sacks and three forced fumbles versus the Carolina Panthers. He finished with a total of fifty eight tackles, eight sacks, and three forced fumbles. After being drafted by the Cowboys on 2005, Ware had already made numerous achievements in the national league including being a four time Pro Bowl selection in four consecutive seasons in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009; three time All-Pro selection in 2007, 2008 and 2009; winning the 2007 All Iron Award, 2008 Galloping Gobbler Award, and the 2008 NFL Butkus Award.
