Playing for the Washington Redskins in the National Football League, DeAngelo Hall is a professional football player. He is the current cornerback for the Redskins. He was born and raised in Chesapeake, Virginia and attended Deep Creek High School where he played football, basketball and track. He was able to lead his high school’s football team to the state AAA Division Six championship game during his senior year in high school.
Hall decided to attend Virginia Tech where he took up a degree in secondary education. During his first year in college, he was able to play for Virginia Tech during the 2002 Gator Bowl when the team had to go against the Florida State University. During his sophomore year, he led his team to victory during the 2002 San Francisco Bowl and was honored as a Big-East Conference Co-Special Teams Player of the Week. He was also named as the Big East Division Defensive Player of the Week during his junior year in college.
Eligible to join the 2004 NFL Draft, Hall was selected by the Atlanta Falcons during the first round and made him the eight overall pick. He was named into the 2006 and 2007 NFC Pro Bowl and started both games. He was traded to the Oakland Raiders in 2007 and then to the Redskins in 2008.
