An Ed Block Courage Awardee in 2004, sources say he led his team on January 5, 2008 to a 31-29 win over Pittsburgh Steelers. He threw for 278 yards in AFC Divisional Playoff Game on January 12, 2008, with two touchdowns against New England Patriots.
He was picked as third quarterback for the 2009 AFC Pro Bowl Team, playing with Matt Schaub and Vince Young on January 24, 2010.
