Dave Silk (full name: Dave Silk; no nicknames) played right wing from 1980 until 1986 for the New York Rangers, Boston Bruins, Detroit Red Wings and Winnipeg Jets. He played for the Rangers from 1980 - 1983, Bruins from 1984 - 1985, Red Wings in 1985 and Jets in 1986. Over 7 seasons, he played 249 games, scored 54 goals, and made 59 assists. Born in Scituate, Massachusetts on January 1, 1958, Silk stands 5-11 and weighs 190 lbs. He was drafted by the New York Rangers in the 4th round (59th overall) of the 1978 NHL Amateur Draft.
