Dave Rader (full name: David Martin Rader; no nicknames) played catcher from 1971 until 1980 for the San Francisco Giants, St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Cubs, Philadelphia Phillies and Boston Red Sox. He played for the Giants from 1971 - 1976, Cardinals in 1977, Cubs in 1978, Phillies in 1979 and Red Sox in 1980. Over 10 seasons, he played 846 games, hit 30 home runs, drove in 254 runs, and stole 8 bases. Born on December 26, 1948 in Claremore, OK, Rader stands 5' 11" and weighs 165 lb.
