Dave Gardner (full name: Dave Gardner; no nicknames) played center from 1973 until 1980 for the Montreal Canadiens, St. Louis Blues, California Golden Seals, Cleveland Barons and Philadelphia Flyers. He played for the Canadies from 1973 - 1974, Blues from 1974 - 1975, Golden Seals from 1975 - 1976, Barons from 1977 - 1978 and Flyers in 1980. Over 7 seasons, he played 350 games, scored 75 goals, and made 115 assists. Born in Toronto, Ontario on August 23, 1952, Gardner stands 6-0 and weighs 185 lbs. He was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the 1st round (8th overall) of the 1972 NHL Amateur Draft.
