Dave Gambee (full name: David P. Gambee; Dave) played Forward from 1959 until 1970 for the St. Louis Hawks, Cincinnati Royals, Syracuse Nationals, Philadelphia 76ers, San Diego Rockets, Milwaukee Bucks, Detroit Pistons and San Francisco Warriors. Over 12 seasons, he played 750 games, scored 7935 points (10.6 ppg) and grabbed 3891 rebounds (5.2 rpg). Gambee also dished out 757 assists (1.0 apg), made steals (0.0 spg), and blocked shots (0.0 bpg) during his career. Born in Portland, Oregon on April 16, 1937, Gambee stands 6-6 and weighs 215 lbs. He attended high school at Corvallis in Corvallis, Oregon and college at Oregon State University. He was drafted by the St. Louis Hawks in the 1st round (6th pick, 6th overall) of the 1958 NBA draft.
