Dave Engle (full name: Ralph David Engle; no nicknames) played catcher, pinch hitter and rightfielder from 1981 until 1989 for the Minnesota Twins, Detroit Tigers, Montreal Expos and Milwaukee Brewers. He played for the Twins from 1981 - 1985, Tigers in 1986, Expos from 1987 - 1988 and Brewers in 1989. Over 9 seasons, he played 594 games, hit 31 home runs, drove in 201 runs, and stole 5 bases.
