About Dave Ellett:
Dave Ellett (full name: Dave Ellett; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1985 until 2000 for the Winnipeg Jets, Toronto Maple Leafs, New Jersey Devils, Boston Bruins and St. Louis Blues. He played for the Jets from 1985 - 1991, Leafs from 1991 - 1997, Devils in 1997, Bruins from 1998 - 1999 and Blues in 2000. Over 16 seasons, he played 1129 games, scored 153 goals, and made 415 assists. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on March 30, 1964, Ellett stands 6-2 and weighs 205 lbs. He was drafted by the Winnipeg Jets in the 4th round (75th overall) of the 1982 NHL Entry Draft. Ellett officially announced retirement on September 8, 2000.
