He played for the Angels from 1973 - 1978, Rangers in 1979, Athletics in 1979 and Royals from 1980 - 1981. Over 9 seasons, he played 903 games, hit 15 home runs, drove in 292 runs, and stole 36 bases. Born on August 30, 1950 in Del Rio, TX, Chalk stands 5' 10" and weighs 175 lb. He attended high school and was drafted by the California Angels in the 1st round (10th pick) of the 1972 amateur draft.
