Born in Utica, New York, David Cash, Jr. is a baseball second base player of the Major League Baseball. He was chosen in the fifth round of the amateur draft in 1966 by the Pittsburgh Pirates and signed with the team on the 7th of June 1966. He had his first major league experience on the 13th of September 1969. He was later sent to the Philadelphia Phillies in exchange for Ken Brett in the year 1973 and granted free agency on the 1st of November 1976. HE then signed with the Montreal Expos as a free agent. After playing three years with the Expos, he was traded to the San Diego Padres in exchange for Dan Briggs and Bill Almon. He last for the Padres on the 5th of October 1980. He was soon released by the team on the 4th of April 1981.
