About Dave Bing:
Dave Bing (full name: David Bing; Dave) played Guard from 1967 until 1978 for the Detroit Pistons, Washington Bullets and Boston Celtics. Over 12 seasons, he played 901 games, scored 18327 points (20.3 ppg) and grabbed 3420 rebounds (3.8 rpg). Bing also dished out 5397 assists (6.0 apg), made 483 steals (0.5 spg), and blocked 89 shots (0.1 bpg) during his career. Born in Washington, District of Columbia on November 24, 1943, Bing stands 6-3 and weighs 180 lbs. He attended high school at Spingarn in Washington, District of Columbia and college at Syracuse University. He was drafted by the Detroit Pistons in the 1st round (2nd pick, 2nd overall) of the 1966 NBA draft. He was inducted into Hall of Fame as Player in 1990.
