Darwin Cook (full name: Darwin Louis Cook; Sparkplug) played Guard from 1981 until 1989 for the New Jersey Nets, Washington Bullets, San Antonio Spurs and Denver Nuggets. Over 8 seasons, he played 612 games, scored 5820 points (9.5 ppg) and grabbed 1308 rebounds (2.1 rpg). Cook also dished out 2248 assists (3.7 apg), made 1044 steals (1.7 spg), and blocked 203 shots (0.3 bpg) during his career. Born in Los Angeles, California on August 6, 1958, Cook stands 6-3 and weighs 184 lbs. He attended high school at Crenshaw in Los Angeles, California and college at University of Portland. He was drafted by the Detroit Pistons in the 4th round (1st pick, 70th overall) of the 1980 NBA draft.
