Darrin Shannon (full name: Darrin Shannon; no nicknames) played left wing from 1989 until 1998 for the Buffalo Sabres, Winnipeg Jets and Phoenix Coyotes. He played for the Sabres from 1989 - 1992, Jets from 1992 - 1996 and Coyotes from 1997 - 1998. Over 10 seasons, he played 506 games, scored 87 goals, and made 163 assists. Born in Barrie, Ontario on December 8, 1969, Shannon stands 6-2 and weighs 210 lbs. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1st round (4th overall) of the 1988 NHL Entry Draft.
