Darren Van Impe (full name: Darren Van Impe; no nicknames) played defenseman from 1995 until 2003 for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, Boston Bruins, New York Rangers, Florida Panthers, New York Islanders and Columbus Blue Jackets. He played for the Mighty Ducks from 1995 - 1998, Bruins from 1998 - 2001, Rangers in 2002, Panthers in 2002, Islanders in 2002 and Blue Jackets in 2003. Over 9 seasons, he played 411 games, scored 25 goals, and made 90 assists. Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on May 18, 1973, Impe stands 6-1 and weighs 205 lbs. He was drafted by the New York Islanders in the 7th round (170th overall) of the 1993 NHL Entry Draft.
