About Danny Schayes:
Danny Schayes (full name: Daniel Leslie Schayes; Dan, Danny) played Center-Forward from 1982 until 1999 for the Utah Jazz, Denver Nuggets, Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns, Miami Heat and Orlando Magic. Over 18 seasons, he played 1138 games, scored 8780 points (7.7 ppg) and grabbed 5671 rebounds (5.0 rpg). Schayes also dished out 1299 assists (1.1 apg), made 560 steals (0.5 spg), and blocked 840 shots (0.7 bpg) during his career. Born in Syracuse, New York on May 10, 1959, Schayes stands 6-11 and weighs 235 lbs. He attended high school at Jamesville-DeWitt in DeWitt, New York and college at Syracuse University. He was drafted by the Utah Jazz in the 1st round (13th pick, 13th overall) of the 1981 NBA draft.
