Danny MacFayden (full name: Daniel Knowles MacFayden; Deacon Danny) played pitcher from 1931 until 1943 for the Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, Boston Braves, Cincinnati Reds, Boston Bees, Pittsburgh Pirates and Washington Senators. He played for the Red Sox from 1931 - 1932, Yankees from 1932 - 1934, Braves from 1935 - 1943, Reds in 1935, Bees from 1936 - 1939, Pirates in 1940 and Senators in 1941. Over 17 seasons, he started 334 games, won 132 games, struck out 797 batters, and had a 3.96 ERA. Born on June 10, 1905 in North Truro, MA, MacFayden stood 5' 11" and weighed 170 lb. He attended Somerville (Somerville, MA) (All Transactions) high school. His debut was on August 25, 1926 and he played his final game on September 13, 1943.
