Danny Gare (full name: Danny Gare; no nicknames) played right wing from 1975 until 1987 for the Buffalo Sabres, Detroit Red Wings and Edmonton Oilers. He played for the Sabres from 1975 - 1982, Red Wings from 1982 - 1986 and Oilers in 1987. Over 13 seasons, he played 827 games, scored 354 goals, and made 331 assists. Born in Nelson, British Columbia on May 14, 1954, Gare stands 5-9 and weighs 175 lbs. He was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2nd round (29th overall) of the 1974 NHL Amateur Draft.
