Danny Frisella (full name: Daniel Vincent Frisella; Bear) played pitcher from 1967 until 1976 for the New York Mets, Atlanta Braves, San Diego Padres, Milwaukee Brewers and St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the Mets from 1967 - 1972, Braves from 1973 - 1974, Padres in 1975, Brewers in 1976 and Cardinals in 1976. Over 10 seasons, he started 17 games, won 34 games, struck out 471 batters, and had a 3.32 ERA. Born on March 4, 1946 in San Francisco, CA, Frisella stood 6' 0" and weighed 185 lb. He attended Junipero Serra (San Mateo, CA) high school and was drafted by the New York Mets in the 3rd round of the 1966 amateur draft (June Secondary).
