Danny Ardoin (full name: Daniel Wayne Ardoin; no nicknames) played catcher from 2000 until 2008 for the Minnesota Twins, Texas Rangers, Colorado Rockies, Baltimore Orioles and Los Angeles Dodgers. He played for the Twins in 2000, Rangers in 2004, Rockies from 2005 - 2006, Orioles in 2006 and Dodgers in 2008. Over 5 seasons, he played 165 games, hit 8 home runs, drove in 50 runs, and stole 2 bases. Born on July 8, 1974 in Mamou, LA, Ardoin stands 6' 0" and weighs 205 lb. He attended Sacred Heart (Villa Platte, LA) high school and was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the 5th round of the 1995 amateur draft. His debut was on August 2, 2000 and he played his final game on September 26, 2008. Over his career, Ardoin made $335,000. Common misspellings of his name include Daniel dan daniel Danny Denny Wayne Ardoin.
