Daniel Tjarnqvist (full name: Daniel Tjarnqvist; no nicknames) played defenseman from 2002 until 2009 for the Atlanta Thrashers, Minnesota Wild, Edmonton Oilers and Colorado Avalanche. He played for the Thrashers from 2002 - 2004, Wild in 2006, Oilers in 2007 and Avalanche in 2009. Over 6 seasons, he played 352 games, scored 18 goals, and made 72 assists. Born in Umea, Sweden on October 14, 1976, Tjarnqvist stands 6-1 and weighs 207 lbs. He was drafted by the Florida Panthers in the 4th round (88th overall) of the 1995 NHL Entry Draft.
