Danica Patrick is a professional race car driver who started driving a go-kart when she was just ten years of age. She had bagged a number of World Karting Championships while she was young and started to be in advance racing in England. She participated in the Formula Ford Festival where she finished second, becoming the first woman to achieve such high place in that event.

She began racing professionally in the United States in 2002 for the Rahal Letterman Racing. Her NASCAR career was launched by her participation in the Automobile Racing Club of America where she drove the #7 Chevrolet and ended as the sixth place winner. Her primary career start in the Nationwide Series of NASCAR was in February 2010 but unluckily ended the race as the 35th placer after being involved in a race accident which damaged 12 cars. Her second performance in the said series came also that month in California where she used the JR Motorsports Chevrolet and won the 31st place. She had two more races in the Nationwide Series which both resulted in 30+ place win. Patrick was able to race against Buddy Rice in Belle Isle as well as with Scott Dixon.

According to sources, she won the Indy Japan 300 in the 2008 season, making him the first woman racer to achieve such win. In the Indianapolis 500 of 2009, she had her career-best win at 3rd place. Winning over her in this competition were Dan Wheldon and the champion, Helio Castroneves.
